WHAT IS DIGITAL DIRECT FULL COLOUR PRINTING?
Digital Direct full colour digital printing enables photorealistic
images to be printed directly onto the surface of a product
without the use of transfers or sublimation processes. A highly
detailed Brand Logo or Corporate Identity can be applied to a
range of substrates, therefore opening the potential to utilise
promotional merchandise as a tool with which to deliver a truly
integrated campaign message to your target audience.
Full Colour Digital Printing is also referred to as 4 Colour
Digital Printing Process or CMYK -
Cyan,
Magenta,
Yellow
and
Black
being the four ink colours used in the process. Cyan,
Magenta and Yellow are the three main pigments used for
colour reproduction, a Black separation is also created to give
shadow and contrast to the printed image.

Our recently introduced full colour branding technology “Digital Direct” involves the transfer of ink directly from the
print head to the product. The investment in this new technology presents the opportunity to provide you with colourful
and vivaciously branded corporate gifts, at very competitive prices. Complex logos and colourful campaign messages
can be presented on a range of gifts with flat or slightly curved surfaces. Logos with half-tones, gradients and tightly
registered colours can all be applied using this four/full colour process printing technology.
This technology does not allow us to reproduce PMS colour matches, so achieving a Pantone match is not possible.
Colour output is in full colour process, so it is important that your campaign favours colourful and vivacious imagery over
the need for exact Pantone colour matching. Metallic colours such as gold and silver are not possible to achieve using
this technology.
